About CEO & Founder Gorm Reedtz

Gorm Reedtz is the founder and CEO of aurosa, where he has forged a connection between research and light therapy technology.

Research Background & Expertise

With a background as a business lawyer and 8 years of experience in the development of medical devices and compliance regulation, Gorm has spent the last three years focusing intensively on research in Photobiomodulation (PBM) – previously known as Low Light Laser Therapy. This specialized knowledge has formed the foundation for the development of aurosa's LED light therapy mask, which is based on the scientifically documented PBM method.

Knowledge-Based Product Development

Gorm's approach to product development differs significantly from traditional cosmetic companies. Instead of merely following market trends, development is based on solid scientific research and translated into practical solutions. aurosa's LED light therapy mask is not just a cosmetic product, but a result of years of research into skin cells' response to specific light treatment, particularly the no longer overlooked aspects of the light spectrum's potentials, such as green light 515-525nm, which can activate immune cell-influenced signaling pathways to reduce itching.

Future Research Plans

Gorm's desire for scientifically based development, rooted in clinical results, means that clinical trials of the aurosa light therapy mask are being planned. The goal is to create robust scientific evidence for the mask's effectiveness and achieve certification as a Class IIa medical device in 2027-2028. This approach ensures that aurosa's products not only promise results but can document them through peer-reviewed research. With Gorm at the helm of the company, aurosa combines the highest scientific standards with innovative product development.

This delivers skincare based on evidence – not just marketing.
